Janne Krogh Hansen
My jewellery often refers to the personal space between the remembered and the suppressed, depicting events that might have taken place or a kind of warning of things to come. My works are without solid facts, but point to the memories that shape us and to the complexity of the moment, captured in a physical form, full of the attached complexities and feelings, and with a clear aesthetic of their own.
Jorge Manilla
I aspire to work solely for the sake of inspiration - before the mind begins to devour the joy of inspiration. Creating jewellery is a completely open process, where shapes, colours and sizes meet and interact. This process unfolds in a constant dialogue between hand, metal and enamel. In this intensive process layers of colour are built up until such moment: like the moon gleaming on water – soft lifting, serene, subdued, yet strong enough to take on life as well as form.
Marie-Louise Kristensen
Marie-Louise Kristensen is a jewellery artist whose works touch us with their personality and immediate appeal, like a shared smile with a stranger in the crowd. Her jewellery is fully wearable as brooches, pendants and rings, but it does not derive its fascination and appeal from its conventional jewellery character or high carat. Marie-Louise Kristensen’s jewellery represents characters, tableaux and scenes from a life that resembles our own yet belongs in its own unique universe.
